La section des lotus d'or regroupe les coups de coeur de Travelling Avant. Chaque année, nous sélectionnons une série d'oeuvres incontournables*, qui se sont imposées à nos yeux en tant qu'expériences cinéphiliques marquantes, sur les plans de la mise en scène, de l'impact émotionnel, intellectuel ou viscéral, de l'aspect avant-gardiste de l'approche filmique ou de la qualité, de l'importance et de la pertinence du film dans l'histoire du cinéma ou en regard de la production cinématographique actuelle, à l'échelle internationale. Un palmarès qui reflète notre vision du septième art, avec une prédilection pour les signatures fortes, les univers audacieux et les démarches qui ébranlent nos certitudes et nos conformismes. En toute subjectivité, bien entendu.
